JROTC has been an important part of our great nations history for over a century. Since the national defense act of 1916, JROTC units in high schools have become a very common course for high school students. JROTC teaches you, citizenship, leadership, community service, integrity, judgement, and initiative. No, these teachers are not military recruiters, but mentors that are there to guide you on how to be a functioning member of society.
