MARKSMANSHIP TEAM
About:
East Gaston MCJROTC offers marksmanship training after school on Thursday´s and Friday´s. The opportunity to join the team is available to all cadets with signed parental permission. Marksmanship teaches cadets safety, precision, and attention to detail, as well as the chance to compete against other schools in and out of state and potentially compete at the national level.
DRILL TEAM
About:
East Gaston MCJROTC offers drill training after school on Tuesday´s and Wednesday's. The opportunity to join the team is available to all cadets who are interested. Drill Team teaches cadets armed and unarmed drill movements as well as color guard. Drill team shows the importance of uniformity, self discipline, attention to detail, and bearing. Cadets get the chance to compete against other schools drill teams in a series of events.
