As JROTC cadets we are committed to being a recognized group in the community and providing services wherever they are requested of us.
MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT
Military appreciation night is a very large event for our brothers and sisters overseas. On the night of our military appreciation football game, we allow all current and previous service members to enter the game for free as well as receive recognition for their service. We also take donations to take to the USO to be sent overseas to current service members serving abroad.
NASCAR
The NASCAR fundraiser is a huge help in bringing funds into our program. Cadets spend a weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway (Concord N.C.) and stand posts at the suite entrances and verify tickets for the guests.
CHRISTMAS PARADES
The Stanley and Mount Holly Christmas Parades are useful towards getting recognized in our community. These parades also allow upcoming high school students and current students an opportunity to develop an interest in JROTC. These parades also keep our program constantly bringing in new cadets.
